TimeDistanceScreen

The Time/Distance Tool is currently under development. The above program screen is an example of how this tool will look.  This example involves a vehicle which is accelerating from a stop and another vehicle which is braking to a stop. Other scenario situations included:

Vehicle one accelerating, vehicle two accelerating

Vehicle one accelerating, vehicle two braking (as above)

Vehicle one accelerating, vehicle two constant

Vehicle one braking, vehicle two braking

Vehicle one braking, vehicle two constant

Vehicle one constant, vehicle two constant

Users are required to enter two variables for each vehicle. After selecting the Calculator Icon, the remaining fields are automatically calculated and reported in the appropriate fields. If you do not have any "Post-Impact Data" or "Perception/Reaction" Data, uncheck the box in front of each text to hide those fields. Otherwise, if you do not select any of these fields, they will be ignored during the "Pre-Impact Data" calculations.

Development is still under way to allow users to print the results in a table format based upon a time range. Once this feature has been completed, users will automatically be notified of the update the next time they run the program.
